Guy Gebbia
A highly motivated and resourceful individual, Guy Gebbia combines an intense work ethic with principles of team building and a focus on meeting objectives. Born and raised in Nyack, NY, Guy was a three time Rockland County Men's Singles Champion. He was the Number One singles and doubles player for Fordham University, where he was the recipient of the Vincent T. Lombardi award, which honors the school's most outstanding male athlete of the year.

Guy started his teaching career as the assistant at the Nyack Field Club and has successfully worked with all ages, coaching at the collegiate, high school and middle school levels. In addition, he has coached in both men and women's USTA leagues. As the Head Teaching Pro at Rustic Brook Swim and Tennis, Guy ran a successful junior tennis camp for six years. He continued his teaching as the director of tennis for Rockland Country Club and Lifeplex Health and Tennis club. Guy is currently in his 16th year as a teaching professional and is the Director of Tennis at Dellwood Country Club.
Christopher Pucci
Extensive experience coaching players at all ages and levels helps Christopher Pucci stand out as one of the area's premier tennis professionals. From beginners to high profile, he has coached ATP and WTA players such as Tim Mayotte, Martina Navratilova, David Witt, Li Fang, and many more.

Christopher has been recognized in Sports Illustrated, Tennis Week, Smash, National Tennis (China) and Platform Tennis, as well as on HBO, CBS, Area Sports Network (China) and USA Network. He has held a world, national and sectional ranking in the 35+ age division and has traveled all over the world with his playing and coaching in such places as Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Italy, France, Monaco, Canada, Mexico and throughout the United States. At the request of the Chinese National Tennis Federation, he traveled to the Olympic training center at Tian Jin, China to coach some of China's most promising players and to instruct China's national coaches.

Originally from Queens, New York, Christopher was previously the racquets professional at The Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes, NJ and the former Director of Tennis at the West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills, NY. Christopher's current protégé, Haig Schneiderman finished the 2007-2008 season as a top 50 USTA National and ETA #1 ranked boys 18 and under competitor. Christopher has been Haig's coach since 1997. He also conducts training sessions for the coaches and players of the top ranked boys' tennis team at the Horace Mann School in New York. Christopher is a sponsored Nike Professional, a Nike Product Tester, a member of the Yonex Professional Team and is certified by the USPTA, PTR, USRSA and PPTA.
John Warren
John brings a winning, energetic and unique brand of tennis coaching to West Rock. Originally from Teaneck, New Jersey, John Warren has been actively developing his coaching skills in the tennis industry for more than 20 years. At age 24, John became one of the youngest collegiate tennis coaches in the NCAA's Northeast Conference at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he successfully developed the men's and women's teams.

Having achieved USPTA Pro 1 status, John has coached players at all competitive levels of the game, including the ATP Tour, Davis Cup, ITF juniors, and USTA adult and junior nationals. He has been instrumental in building strong, innovative tennis programs at Washington Township Tennis and Fitness Club, and at the Bay Road Tennis Club, in Amherst, MA, where John also served as Traveling Team Coach for the Arthur Carrington Tennis Academy.
Kathy Sawyer
Women's League Director

"Come on out—meet new people and have a great time!" - That's the motto—and the attitude—of Kathy Sawyer, an energetic mother of three who's been playing tennis for 42 years! (She started very young!) A former high school and collegiate tennis player at Cazenovia College, her competitive spirit has kept her active in league play throughout her entire life, captaining teams in various leagues throughout the New York/New Jersey area.

Kathy brings her fantastic personality and many years of tennis experience to the staff at West Rock, where she's become an instant hit.
Brooque Moolick
Brooque Moolick practically grew up on a tennis court. Playing organized tennis for nearly a quarter of a century, she has more than a decade of experience with the USTA, having achieved a ranking of Number 8 in the Eastern Section Girl's 18's. A top high school player, she was recruited by numerous collegiate programs before taking her game to West Virginia University. Unfortunately, an injury cut her collegiate tennis career short.

Brooque's subsequent education and career experience in Special Ed and elementary teaching helped make her a natural as a children's tennis teacher. In addition to the Pee Wee program at West Rock Tennis Club, she has shared her skills with the program at Dellwood Country Club in New City, NY. Brooque earned her PTR Certification and received her Recreational Coaching Certification through the USPTA. Her passion as a player continues to come through in her teaching, making her a valuable asset to West Rock.
Jhonson Garcia
A veteran of numerous prestigious tournaments around the world, Jhonson Garcia brings a passionate competitive spirit to West Rock. In addition to being an active Davis Cup player since 1998, he won the Gold Medal in the Singles competition at the Central American Games in 2006, where he also won the Silver Medal in Doubles. His international competitions have also included the Pan-American Games in Santo Domingo in 2003 and in Rio de Janeiro in 2007. Jhonson was Champion of Dominican Republic for eight years until 2007. He was ranked Number 490 in the world by the ATP. In 2008, he worked as a hitting partner of Nicolas Almagro and #1 player in the world, Jelena Jankovic.

In between tournament play, Jhonson spent five years as a traveling coach, working closely with both professionals and junior players.
Vlad Damian
Before coming to America, Vlad was one of the top-ranked (Top 10 between ages 12 and 16) junior players in his native Romania, one of the most competitive tennis nations in the world. His great personality makes him a natural at working with both kids and adults. He's been a popular teacher in Rockland County for more then seven years, beginning at Dellwood Country Club in New City. Vlad has been at Westrock Tennis Club for six years and has run the Junior Clinic and adults programs in addition to teaching private lessons to players of all ages.
Darren Di Santo
Originally from Suffolk County NY, Darren is an energetic, determined tennis professional who always puts his students first. As a team captain at Suffolk County Community College, he played number one Singles and Doubles. He then went on to St. Josephs College, where he received his BS in Biology and Secondary Education. Darren has conducted numerous clinics and lessons players of all levels in the Suffolk County and Philadelphia areas. During his time teaching he has also achieved certification ratings of PTR 4a Professional, USPTA P-1 and is a USRSA Master Racquet Technician.
Ramon Guzman, BS, PTA,CSCS,PES, USAW
Strength & Conditioning Coach

Ramon is an accomplished health and fitness professional with over 15 years of experience in the sports and health industry. He received his Bachelors of Science in Physical Education/Physical Therapy from Manhattan College. He continued his studies at New York University and became a licensed Physical Therapy Clinician.

His love of sports and competition was evident early on. In high school, he earned varsity letters in baseball and soccer for three consecutive years. In college, he concentrated on rowing team and began competing in multi-sport events like triathlons.

Ramon also has extensive experience in physical therapy and personal training. He was the Director of the Aqua Therapy Program and Assistant Director of the Back Program/Work Hardening Program for the Healthsouth Rehabilitation Centers in Manhattan. It was then that Ramon started formulating his idea of combining physical therapy protocols with his strength and conditioning program. In 2000, Ramon started Evolution Personal Training: Training with a Therapeutic Touch, a program he managed for seven years. He has worked with thousands of clients and patients that range from general weight loss and post-rehabilitation to competition training.

Over the last five years, Ramon has focused on sports performance training. As a performance coach and Director of a national sports performance facility, he has worked with top high school, college and professional (NFL, NBA, NHL) athletes. As the Strength and Conditioning coach for West Rock Tennis Academy, Ramon's vast knowledge and experience can benefit players of all ages and levels.
